KD displays was established in 1985 by Robert Shatilla who had gained extensive experience in the flooring industry as a Vice President of Peters Carpet Mills. The experience that Bob brought to the company as a merchandiser and his history in the flooring industry was invaluable in establishing K.D.Displays as a leader in the design and manufacture of knock down displays.

Dave Shatilla who started working at K.D Displays on weekends and during school holidays joined the company on a full time basis in 1991. Dave's worked on all facets of the business from design, to sales, to manufacture and shipment. This hands-on experience gives Dave a depth of understanding of the business unmatched in the industry.

Brad Robinson joined K.D Displays as General Manager in 2000 bringing with him the skills gained in starting up, organizing and operating four retail stores doing over 6 million dollars in annual sales. Brad was charged with the responsibility of organizing and coordinating the manufacture and over all administration of the company.

Bob Shatilla retired from the day to day operations of K.D.Displays in 2004 and sold the company to Dave and Brad. Bob remains on the company's advisory board and management committee.
